Saree

A Sari or saree is a women's garment from the Indian subcontinent which is essentially a long piece of unstitched cloth - about five to nine yards that is draped around and worn typically with a blouse or a top. A Saree is part of daily wear for a significant portion of Indian women. Sarees are hand made as well as machine made and are characterised by the place where they have been woven. They come in different colors, textures often printed or dyed - with zari, tassels etc.

Depending on the colors and overall appearance a saree may be an office wear saree, work wear saree, traditional saree, cocktail party saree, day event saree or just a casual saree.
